Redeemer Counseling Newsletter

May is mental health awareness month. It is a great time for church leaders to assess their response to mental health challenges in their community. Churches and ministry leaders are often first responders in crises and they have a deep desire to help people. However, because leaders can be unsure of exactly how to help or do not always have sufficient training, they can sometimes unintentionally hurt people with their response. We want to help you navigate these challenges effectively. In this toolkit, you will learn six ways to care for the mental health of the people you serve.
