Preventing Burnout: Replenishing Through Boundaries

Caring for people with their emotional needs can be rewarding and yet draining. Trying to negotiate the demands of your ministry role and the needs in your personal life can become overwhelming and lead to unnecessary burnout. Join us for a practical, hands-on approach to learn how to structure your life and keep your light shining without burning the candle at both ends.

Participants will:

    • Evaluate current boundary-setting methods they use for renewal
    • Identify practical and emotional obstacles that make their current boundary setting ineffective
    • Develop healthier ministerial and relational boundaries
    • Learn effective time management skills focused on their ministry needs
    • Plan daily rhythms that can foster regular replenishment

The training will also be a unique opportunity for participants to learn Redeemer Counseling’s Gospel-centered Integrative Framework for Therapy (GIFT) and practice incorporating GIFT with DBT.

Through experiential exercises and time for questions throughout the training, participants will also learn how to help their clients:
