Peter Cha, LMFT

Clinical Director and Counselor

Peter Cha holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has received additional training in marriage and family therapy at the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center and is licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the state of New York. Peter has been in practice at Redeemer Counseling for 20 years. He has expertise in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR therapy, which are experiential approaches that help facilitate lasting healing and change. He is also a certified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the seminar director and trainer for the Prepare/Enrich inventory. He works with individuals, couples, and families with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, emotional intensity and sensitivity, personality disorders, and relationship issues such as infidelity, communication, as well as cultural and intergenerational conflicts. Peter has been married for 26 years and has two daughters and a dog. He enjoys woodworking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
