Natasha Steenkamp, MA
Natasha Steenkamp graduated with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary Graduate School of Counseling. She works with individual clients on a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, shame, interpersonal struggles, sexual abuse, trauma as well as other mental health diagnoses. Drawing from her personal journey of grief following the tragic and sudden loss of her younger brother in 2011, Natasha specializes in helping clients who have suffered various losses. She facilitates grief support groups and grief workshops aimed at providing psycho-education and compassionate support. In addition to her passion for counseling, Natasha also enjoys teaching at college level and holds a certification in Adult Education. She previously served as an adjunct faculty in the psychology and counseling program at Pillar College in New Jersey. She also has a heart for working with disadvantaged communities and has been volunteering her time and skills at the Bowery Mission Women's Center since 2011. Natasha and her husband, Henri, are active members of Grace Chapel in Bedminster, N.J. Natasha enjoys traveling, photography, visiting art museums and learning about art history. Originally from South Africa, Natasha is an enthusiastic rugby and cricket supporter.
