Caryn Amandola

Intern Counselor

Caryn is a graduate student in mental health counseling at Queens College. She brings years of experience working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma, and is a certified trainer with Mending the Soul, a nonprofit committed to bringing hope and healing to abuse victims. Caryn is passionate about walking alongside others through life’s difficulties and hurts, whether it be the loss of loved one, relationship conflict, anger, anxiety or finding direction and purpose. Having 30 years of pastoral ministry and management experience, she empowers clients through a supportive, integrative approach. She believes that each client is unique, possessing thoughts and feelings that deserve to be heard. Caryn enjoys spending time with family and friends having fun and meaningful conversation over a good meal. She also loves walking on the beach, restoring vintage furniture, and anything chocolate.
